Incredible Years® Groups

Incredible Years® is an evidence-based parenting program delivered in over 20 countries all over the world.

This program helps parents and caregivers feel confident and connected to their infant or toddler during the first 3 years of life, crucial for your child’s physical, social-emotional, and cognitive development. Parents will gain support and get to share real life stories of these precious little ones, plus get tips on taking care of yourself in the process.

Frequently Asked Questions

1.      Do I need to bring my baby? Yes, Incredible Years Baby is for you and your baby together! Our parenting coaches will join along side to celebrate all that you are doing to care for your baby in the most supportive manner possible. We will be practicing new tools and techniques in-vivo (live, in the moment) what works the best for your baby and learning from all of the parents in the room.

2.      I have other children in my care during class time. Do you offer childcare? Yes, Incredible Years Toddler is for parents. All children will be offered childcare in the Toddler program. And, for Incredible Years Baby, babies will be with their parent and we will offer childcare for older siblings.

3.      Will you be serving food or snacks? Yes, we will offer a light breakfast or lunch depending on the time of day the class is offered and we make sure food is age-appropriate. Please let us know if you have any special food needs, allergies, or sensitivities.

4.      Can we invite my partner or a friend? Yes, inviting friends or family members is strongly encouraged so that all caregivers can be on the same page with caring for your little one.

5.      I might have to miss a class, is that okay? Yes, we understand folks have busy schedules and will need to miss due to illness, travel, or other scheduling.

6.      My home language is not English, can I still join your group? Yes, Brigid Collins works with an interpreter service to support a variety of language needs.

7.      What do I need to bring each session? Please bring what you would normally need for other activities, such as, special food, bottle or beverage, diapers, wipes, special interest toys that your child needs to feel safe and supported. We will have toys to play with. Please let us know if you are not able to provide some of these items and we will check our supplies to make sure you are well stocked.
