Megan Brown Douglas, MSW, LISCW
Megan Brown Douglas is a Bellingham local, born and raised in Whatcom County. Now serving as the Program Director at the Parenting Academy, Megan has been working with Brigid Collins for over 18 years. She received her BA from Western Washington University, her Masters of Social Work from Eastern Washington University.
Megan specializes in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy as an internationally-certified therapist and trainer. She is also a Triple P Program accredited provider.
Andrea Cavender, MA, LMHCA
Andrea has been working at Brigid Collins for over seven years, and now provides professional parent coaching at the Parenting Academy. She received her Bachelors of Science from California State University, Chico, and her Masters in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University. When she is not coaching, she loves hiking, skiing, and traveling with her adventure buddies - her husband and daughter.
Andrea is an evidence-based practitioner of Triple P, Promoting First Relationships, Incredible Years, and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy.
Lauren Caravello, LICSW-A
Lauren recently started her journey as a professional parent coach, and has been with us for nine months. She received her Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys hiking, rollerblading and going to the beach.
Lauren specializes in Triple P, and is in the process of getting her certification in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy.
